Mdina, Malta

Posted by Alexis Corry on

Welcome to Mdina, Malta, the Northern Region of the country and an ancient, walled, walking city. Mdina is a combination of medieval and baroque architecture with so much character. Once you make your way through the Mdina Gate, you'll be immediately immersed in old-world surroundings; a destination where you can quite literally step back in time. Enjoy the slow pace of this unique city, which makes for a great follow up after Valletta. Visit the famous Saint Paul's Cathedral and check out the views at Bastion Square. As for where to stay, The Xara Palace Relais & Chateaux is a must.
