Resort Lifestyle with Valiante

Buyer or designer ~ or both ~ either way, I absolutely love what I do. Connecting with like-minded business owners and designers is a beautiful thing, and I am beyond lucky to have the opportunity to do just that. I also love travel and learning other's stories, especially in relation to their brand or product. It was no surprise that I felt an instant affection.. when I discovered the resort wear collection Valiánte.

Julz, founder and designer of Valiánte, is originally from Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, and now resides in Los Angeles. Her collection is inspired by her time living in India; the wild colors, mystery, and landscapes of Goa, Rajasthan, and Jaipur. A travel-lover herself, Julz creates beautiful silhouettes that are feminine and flirty. 

Julz believes in seasonless resort-style dressing ~ I love that mindset and its one that certainly applies to Lex & Lynne, too! I've paired a number of Lex & Lynne items back to the Valiánte collection and I absolutely love each look. The power of a floral or ruffle piece with one of our Natural Woven Cottons (or a simple tee or blouse that you already own!) is refreshing!

Julz has been in the fashion industry for nearly two decades as a designer and a director. I admire her approach to Valiánte, the collection stands on its own and introduces a new series here and there, but does not abide by the typical "fashion buying seasons" that most do. There is instant longevity in an article of clothing when it is not defined by its season or trend, and Valiánte is a great example of that.
