It is finally here, everyone. A chill has creeped into the air. That crisp breeze and warm autumn colors that we have all been anxiously waiting for are finally here. Other than the obvious reasons to love fall, one of my personal favorites is the opportunity to pack my summer shorts and tanks away and return to the cozy clothes of the colder seasons. Capes are perfect for any occasion. On warmer fall days I have thrown on a cape with shorts and light sweater. They are also perfect to throw in your bag when you're on the go so that you're ready when the cool night breeze comes. And, for colder days capes are great for layering because they prevent you from looking bulky due to the natural flow and long lines of their shape. They can be dressed down with jeans and a t-shirt, but are also perfect for a night out when paired with a dress and heels.
