Following an impromptu IG Live session last week I decided to organize leftover beading materials and create! I adore each material that goes into my jewelry making, and when I find that there are one or a few "last-of" strands or malas they go into a little vault. This is where I usually make custom or one-of-a-kind necklaces, but over the weekend I had an idea!
I chose to work with a variety of materials: bone, painted wood, or onyx. And adorn each bracelet with amethyst, turquoise, or garnet ~ and a combination! I spent the weekend taking breaks here and there from whatever I was doing to sit down and make one bracelet at a time.

During my bracelet making, I focused on quiet, patience, reflection. I thought about the materials and the gemstones ~ their properties, Lex & Lynne's beginning. I could certainly benefit from some of the gems healing properties right now. Amethyst and onyx are calling me. And then I thought deeper, about my family, friends, customers, readers, followers, peers ~ everybody could benefit from the healing properties of each gemstone.
Amethyst ~ Purification, balance, and protection; helps with negative thoughts and exudes relaxing energy.
Turquoise ~ Balance, creativity and protection; associated with the Throat Chakra, Turquoise tends to help and support clear communication. Balances extreme moods and helps release tension. Protects from sensitivity to outside influences.
Garnet ~ Love, passion, and health; helps to keep grounded and to focus on the present.
Onyx ~ Strength and protection; helps with physical and emotional strength and balances grief, confusion, and stress.

After a while I thought to myself, okay, I'm not going to sell the bracelets, what am I making them for? I wish I could give them to people, but I am practicing social distancing + my store is temporarily closed.
So here is a little gift from me to you... I've made 13 bracelets in a variety of materials; whoever would like a bracelet, please send me a DM on Instagram (@lexandlynne) and I will send you a bracelet + a gift card to our online shop! With this, I ask you to take a closer look at Lex & Lynne, as a lifestyle brand and not a product for sale. Consider our journey through our website and social media a story shared together.

As a side note, I absolutely love following the boutique JuJu located in Pittsburgh. Juju's Instagram, website, and boutique is a great source of inspiration for all things relative to gemstones, their healing properties, uses, and so much more. In fact, I booked my very first Tarot reading ~ this Wednesday! While I'm not totally well-versed in gemstone properties, I know that you can learn more from Juju!

 |
Details: Please note that all bracelet styles are limited and there are 13 bracelets total. As mentioned, all you have to do is send me a DM on Instagram ~ @lexandlynne ~ with your name, address, bracelet preference! I will not keep your address on file and you can use the gift card as you'd like to ~ for yourself, for a friend, or as a gift. This is not a giveaway, this is not a sale, and the availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Simply enjoy the beads and the gemstones!
